New Committees

We're looking for approval of the Central Committee for four new committees:

  • Fund Raising
  • Training, Credentials, and Nominations
  • Platform, Bylaws, and Resolutions
  • Platform Success Working Group

 

Fund Raising Committee

 

  • Mission Statement
    • The Fund Raising Committee shall coordinate and organize fundraising and outreach events.  Funds are intended for the annual operations of the party and the promotion of the Party platform and candidates.

 

  • Committee structure and function
    • Chaired by a member(s) of executive committee and one at-large county party member.
    • The size of the committee to be decided by chairs.
    • Committee chairs may delegate events and activities to subcommittees.
    • The committee will report to the executive committee for approval of activities, events and expenses.

 

  • Duties
    • Shall meet monthly and report to the executive committee, and the central committee
    • Coordinate the annual fundraising dinner.
    • Coordinate additional outreach efforts, including but not limited to the 4th of July activities.
    • Transition into the Nominating Committee for County Convention

 

  • Chairs - Vicki Kissack, Vice Chairman and Laura Spooner, member at-large.

  

Training and Education Committee

 

  • Mission Statement
    • The training and education committee will provide for the training and education of the central committee, executive committee and Republican candidates for public office.

 

  • Committee structure and function
    • Chaired by a member(s) of executive committee and one at-large county party member
    • The size of the committee to be decided by chairs.
    • Committee chairs may delegate events to subcommittees.
    • The committee will report to the executive committee for approval of activities, events and expenses.

 

  • Duties
    • The committee will organize a preconvention training session for all precinct persons on the process and procedures of the Precinct Caucuses and County Convention.
    • It shall make available or distribute to members bylaws, platforms and resolutions of the Campbell County Republican Party and the Wyoming Republican Party.
    • Organize and distribute Credentials at Central Committee Meetings
    • Transition into the Credentials Committee for County Convention

 

  • Chairs - Barb Luthy, Secretary and Janet Mader, State Committee Woman and one at-large county party member.

 

 

Platforms, Bylaws and  Resolutions Committee

 

  • Mission Statement
    • To develop the County Platform, Resolutions and Bylaws and to prepare and maintain a working document for presentation to the Precinct Caucuses and County Convention.

 

  • Committee structure and function
    • Chaired by a member(s) of executive committee and one at-large county party member
    • The size of the committee to be decided by chairs.
    • Committee chairs may delegate events and activities to subcommittees.
    • The committee shall report to the executive committee for approval of activities, events and expenses.   

 

  • Duties
    • The committee will organize, prepare and maintain a working version of the Platforms, Resolutions, and Bylaws for presentation to the Precinct Caucuses and County Convention.
    • Work with elected officials and party members identifying, classifying and crafting platforms, resolutions.
    • Collaborate with the executive committee and state party to monitor, maintain and update bylaws as needed.
    • Coordinate with the Training and Education Committee to organize sessions to educate and explain our platforms and resolutions.
    • Transition into the Platforms, Resolutions, and Bylaws Committees for County Convention

 

  • Chairs - Dave Horning, State Committeeman and one at-large county party member.

 

 

Platform Success Working Group

 

  • Mission Statement
    • To promote, disseminate and educate the party membership, Republican elected officials and the general public on the platform, issues and core values of the Republican Party.

 

  • Committee structure and function
    • Chaired by a member(s) of executive committee and one at-large county party member.
    • Shall have up to five members, each approved by the executive committee.
    • The committee shall report to the executive committee for approval of activities, events and expenses.   

 

  • Duties
    • The committee will work with elected officials to ensure the legislators well understand the platform.
    • Review each elected official record in comparison to the platform and collaborate to understand any differences and to educate the party and the general public of those differences.
    • Work with the executive committee to educate the party and public regarding the state of the county party.
    • Coordinate with the Training and Education Committee to organize sessions to educate and explain our platforms and resolutions.

 

  • Chairs - Doug Gerard, Chairman and Vincent Naumu, member at-large.
