2018 Caucus Is In The Books!

Wow, I had so much fun!

Thank you to all who came out to the Caucus the past Saturday! Lots of necessary work was done!

I will update this post when I have a solid count but I believe we had approximately 60 people in attendance.

I have two favorite memories (so far):

  • People visiting with each other. New acquaintances being made.

  • When we found out that we had forgotten plates for the sandwiches and one of the ladies said "We are Republicans, we can handle this! Just use a napkin!"

Thank you to all those who helped make the event a success!

Now onto Convention! March 10th @ 10 am @ Campbell County Public Library

The call to order will be at 10:00 A.M. Our Party’s long tradition of emphasizing the grass roots and self-government starts with these caucuses. At your Precinct Caucuses you will need to gather your neighbors and accomplish the following items:

  • YOU WILL elect delegates and alternates to the County Convention. The County Convention will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the Wyoming Room of the Campbell County Public Library. We expect to move the County Convention along efficiently and productively.
  • YOU WILL discuss and vote on any resolutions, amendments to platform planks, and changes to County and/or State Bylaws.
  • Bring your red folders/manuals. If you have not picked up your folder you can do so at caucus.

This is an opportunity to discuss with one another how we choose to govern ourselves. I invite you to enjoy yourself and the camaraderie of your fellow Republicans.
